				وَلَيَالٍ عَشْرٍ

				وَالشَّفْعِ وَالْوَتْرِ

				وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَسْرِ
	5995 3252 232 180 89:4			By the night as it passes.
				هَلْ فِي ذَلِكَ قَسَمٌ لِذِي حِجْرٍ
	5996 3253 233 181 1622 89:5			Should it not be an oath for those who possess intelligence?
				أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِعَادٍ
	5997 3254 234 182  89:6			Do you not realize what your Lord did to Aad?
				إِرَمَ ذَاتِ الْعِمَادِ
	5998 3255 235 183 1623 89:7			Eram, founded on pillars.
				الَّتِي لَمْ يُخْلَقْ مِثْلُهَا فِي الْبِلادِ
	5999 3256 236 184 89:8			The likes of which were not created in any civilization.
				وَثَمُودَ الَّذِينَ جَابُوا الصَّخْرَ بِالْوَادِ
	6000 3257 237 185 89:9			And to Thamoud who carved mansions in the rocks of the valley?
				وَفِرْعَوْنَ ذِي الأوْتَادِ
	6001 3258 238 186 89:10			And to Pharaoh, possessor of might?
				الَّذِينَ طَغَوْا فِي الْبِلادِ
	6002 3259 239 187 1624 89:11			They were transgressing civilizations.
				فَأَكْثَرُوا فِيهَا الْفَسَادَ
	6003 3260 240 188 89:12			They continuously spread corruption.
				فَصَبَّ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّكَ سَوْطَ عَذَابٍ
	6004 3261 241 189 1625 89:13			Consequently, your Lord poured upon them a whipping suffering.
				إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَبِالْمِرْصَادِ
	6005 3262 242 190 89:14			Indeed your Lord is ever watchful.
				فَأَمَّا الإنْسَنُ إِذَا مَا ابْتَلاهُ رَبُّهُ فَأَكْرَمَهُ وَنَعَّمَهُ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّي أَكْرَمَنِ
	6006 3263 243 191 89:15			When the human being is tested by his Lord, and He honors him and blesses him, he says, my Lord has honored me.
				وَأَمَّا إِذَا مَا ابْتَلاهُ فَقَدَرَ عَلَيْهِ رِزْقَهُ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّي أَهَانَنِ
	6007 3264 244 192 89:16			But when He puts him to a test and reduces his provisions, he then says, my Lord has humiliated me.
				كَلا بَل لا تُكْرِمُونَ الْيَتِيمَ
	6008 3265 245 193 1626 89:17			No absolutely not! It is you who has not honored the fatherless.
				وَلا تَحَاضُّونَ عَلَى طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِينِ
	6009 3266 246 194 89:18			And have never encouraged feeding the poor.
				وَتَأْكُلُونَ التُّرَاثَ أَكْلا لَمًّا
	6010 3267 247 195 1627 89:19			And have devoured inheritance with greed.
				وَتُحِبُّونَ الْمَالَ حُبًّا جَمًّا
	6011 3268 248 196 89:20			And you loved money with unending love.
				كَلا إِذَا دُكَّتِ الأرْضُ دَكًّا دَكًّا
	6012 3269 249 197 89:21			Absolutely, when matter is utterly pulverized,-
				وَجَاءَ رَبُّكَ وَالْمَلَكُ صَفًّا صَفًّا
	6013 3270 250 198 89:22			-and your Lord comes as well as the angels, row after row,-
				وَجِيءَ يَوْمَئِذٍ بِجَهَنَّمَ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَتَذَكَّرُ الإنْسَنُ وَأَنَّى لَهُ الذِّكْرَى
	6014 3271 251 199 1628 89:23			-on that day, Gehenna will be brought forth. On that day the human will be reminded, and what a reminder.
				يَقُولُ يَا لَيْتَنِي قَدَّمْتُ لِحَيَاتِي
	6015 3272 252 200 89:24			He will say, O I wish I had prepared for my life.
				فَيَوْمَئِذٍ لا يُعَذِّبُ عَذَابَهُ أَحَدٌ
	6016 3273 253 201 89:25			Then on that day, his suffering will be like none other.
				وَلا يُوثِقُ وَثَاقَهُ أَحَدٌ
	6017 3274 254 202 89:26			And His confinement will be like none other.
				يَا أَيَّتُهَا النَّفْسُ الْمُطْمَئِنَّةُ
	6018 3275 255 203 89:27			As for you, O contented soul,-
				ارْجِعِي إِلَى رَبِّكِ رَاضِيَةً مرْضِيَّةً
	6019 3276 256 204 89:28			-return to your Lord, pleased, and pleasing.
				فَادْخُلِي فِي عِبَادِي
	6020 3277 257 205 1629 89:29			Enter along with My servants,-
				وَادْخُلِي جَنَّتِي
	6021 3278 258 206 89:30			-and enter My Paradise.
